I have over a decade of teaching experience – from 4th grade, to graduate school, to the facilitation of educators’ ongoing professional development. I engage with learners of all ages, across both formal and informal settings, and regularly design and leverage learning technologies for inquiry, collaboration, and creative expression. Before teaching in higher education settings, I directed youth civic engagement programs for high school students across New York City’s five boroughs, and was also a middle school mathematics teacher in the South Bronx at Middle School 22. Since I began teaching in post-secondary settings, my course designs and teaching impact have been recognized with multiple teaching awards.
